Ministry

Opportunities to find your ministry/ vocation in service to Christ, and with him, your service to others are limitless.  All ministry begins with a self-assessment of your interests and talents, followed by your willingness to prepare and undergo a process of formation. Spiritual Direction and counseling are especially helpful during self-assessment and preparation.

Mentoring is often an ongoing relationship of sharing with a practitioner in your field of interest.  He/She can guide you to where you can find opportunities for service, as well as advise you on how to be successful and avoid pitfalls. When possible, a Community member will serve as your Mentor.

Examples of ministry include:
Visiting, caring for the sick;
(in homes, nursing homes, hospitals).
Feeding the hungry or homeless.
Providing rides to doctors, to stores, or to the hospital.
Teaching a talent of yours where needed.

The Ecumenical Catholic Church+USA is a denomination within the independent Catholic movement. We share with all Christians the belief that Jesus is the Son of God and Redeemer of humanity.
